Last weekend at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, the team from Wegberg was again able to impress with two class wins and further podium successes. The race weekend on the Ardennes-Rollercoaster as part of the 24-hour race was overshadowed on Saturday by a heavy accident which led to the stoppage of the second race.

In the two penultimate rounds of the DTM Trophy, Leipert Motorsport once again achieved a double victory in the XP class with Fidel Leib, while Jan Kisiel is still aiming for the vice championship title. Junior Marc de Fulgencio convinces once again with a Junior Bronze Placement.

The third round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season was once again crowned with success for Leipert Motorsport. Despite corona-related changes in the driver line-up, the team from Wegberg once again achieved top 10 successes with all four Lamborghini Huracán and celebrated two class wins with the AM duo Fidel Leib / Yury Wagner.

Last weekend the DTM Trophy returned to the Nürburgring. The team from Wegberg once again managed the double header with consistent success: Jan Kisiel climbed the podium again in the overall classification. Additionally, there are two junior podium successes of Marc de Fulgencio and Fidel Leib's double victory in the XP ranking.

In the motor sport season 2020, in which the organisers had to change some of their plans due to the Corona pandemic, the Nürburgring is scheduled twice for the DTM Trophy. While the Grand Prix circuit had been raced a week earlier, last weekend the drivers were able to look forward to the shortened track version.

Jan Kisiel in AMG GT4 #4 secured seventh position in the first qualifying session for race one on Saturday afternoon. After the first starting phase, the Pole fought a thrilling asphalt duel for fourth place, which he won in the end. The 26-year-old crossed the finish line just behind the third-placed driver. Only two places behind: The Leipert Motorsport Junior Marc de Fulgencio on the #9, who also fought hard in the race. The young Spaniard made up three positions in the first race. As sixth overall, he was also delighted to receive a trophy as second best junior on the first day of the race. Fidel Leib could be happy about the trophy as XP-winner after the thrilling race. In the first race he finished 13th overall on the Profi-Car AMG GT4 #2.

In the Sunday race, Jan Kisiel on the AMG #4 focused on one thing in particular: The podium! In the second race Kisiel was temporarily even in second place. He could not defend his position and stuck to the safe strategy - taking no risks. In third place, he took not just the trophy home but also other important championship points in the battle for the drivers' title. In the sister Mercedes #9 Marc de Fulgencio also managed to maintain a constant performance: Sixth place overall and again runner-up Junior. Fidel Leib, who is facing a big challenge in the DTM Trophy this season, finished 15th overall and was again the winner of the XP ranking.

This puts Jan Kisiel in second place overall in the drivers' championship after 8 of 12 championship races, Marc de Fulgencio in second place in the juniors' championship (8th overall) and Fidel Leib is the leader of the XP standings. In addition, Leipert Motorsport currently ranks second in the team classification of the DTM Trophy.

After two rounds at the Nürburgring it is time for a move to a new location: After a successful double header for the team supported by MOTUL, a short break of the season follows and in mid-October the team will go to Zolder, Belgium (16-18.10.2020).
