Leipert Motorsport confirms Brit Jordan Witt in final driver line-up for FANATEC GT World Challenge Endurance

10. March 2022

After the first two test days of the new FANATEC GT World Challenge Endurance season, Leipert Motorsport announces the final driver pairing for the 2022 season.

In addition to the previously confirmed Brendon Leitch, who has already been part of the team since 2019, and 20-year-old Dennis Fetzer, who celebrated his team debut at the 24h Sebring, 31-year-old Brit Jordan Witt completes the driver line-up, which will be joined by Max Weering at the 24h Spa.

Witt is thus celebrating his comeback after 3 years in the MOTUL-supported team from Wegberg, with which he has already recorded two podium finishes in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo in 2019. Thanks to his experience and performance with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3, he has already won the 24h Spa in the Silver Cup.

The initially confirmed driver Frank Bird will therefore not be part of the 2022 line-up.

Managing Directors Marc Poos and Marcel Leipert: “We are very happy to announce a final driver pairing for GTWC Endurance. Jordan Witt is a very experienced, fast and reliable driver who fits perfectly into our team. In final constellation we will already go to Barcelona and Hockenheim next week for further tests to prepare perfectly for the upcoming season. ”
